Emma says…“After finishing university with BSc (Hons) Psychology degree, I discovered an interest in property in various roles and I qualified as a Mortgage Advisor in 2003. I then grew my modest property portfolio which includes commercial, single let and HMO properties. Following the financial crisis of 2007 when many UK banks collapsed and needed bailing out by the government, I returned to university and qualified with a Distinction as a secondary school teacher. This was a temporary career change and I decided to return to my love of property and focusing on helping others manage and protect their assets.
My passion is finding the very best deal for your mortgage needs. I can help you with your residential mortgage and my expertise is within the property investment sector. Placing complex portfolio landlord BTL mortgages and commercial finance is my specialism. With many years experience in property investing, I can help you build or refinance your portfolio and help you work towards your goals whether that is with the near-term view of profitability or longer-term growth.
I am more than happy to talk with you to explore your options and help you with all your mortgage needs.
Outside of work I am a mum of four children and spend my time making those little people the best they can be. I love to listen to audiobooks and my interests are fitness, wellbeing and travel. As a family we love to explore new countries and cultures. Countries we have visited including Philippines, Sri Lanka, Georgia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Bali, Cambodia, Australia, Morocco, Gambia and many European countries.
Someone once said to me “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I feel extremely lucky to regard property and finance as not only a job but one of my main interests. Reading property and mortgage magazines, researching mortgage deals and listening to property podcast/audiobooks is one of my favourite pastimes and has helped me immensely in gaining an edge in the industry.”
