WHO WE ARE
We are independent, whole of market, mortgage and
protection Advisers, advising and arranging mortgages and associated
insurance products.
Desmond Tourick entered the UK Financial
Services industry in 1981, and has gained vast experience and knowledge
over the last 30 years. He is qualified and authorised to advise on the UK
mortgage marketplace, as well as protection and insurance products that
are available from leading providers. Having been an investment adviser
for over 20 years, Des now concentrates on the mortgage and protection
side of the industry.
In early 2006, Des decided that to be
accessible to people across the whole country who wanted a fast but
professional service, he had to start using the available technology to
its fullest; thus '1st Call 4 Mortgages' was born. His services were
available to everyone in the UK, who were happy to deal via the internet
and telephone.
In 2010, Des decided to join forces with Jon Dale,
who owns Economic Financial Solutions, who are based in Swansea, South
Wales. Due to FSA regulations, Des had to forego the trading name of '1st
Call 4 Mortgages' and go under the banner of 'Economic Financial
Solutions, your 1st Call 4 Mortgages'. As he owns the 1st Call 4 Mortgages
website, and has many existing contacts, and search directories entries
that are beyond his control, it was agreed that the 1st Call 4 Mortgages
website should be maintained, and re-badged to include the connection
to Economic Financial Solutions. All business will in future be transacted
under the name 'Economic Financial Solutions', of which Jon Dale is the
principal owner.
We have learnt that most people who want to
arrange a mortgage or a protection plan don’t necessarily want to have a
‘salesman’ visit them (usually in the evening) and are more than happy to
use the internet and telephone to obtain the expertise, service and
results they want. It really is the most straightforward, easiest, and
quickest way of getting the mortgage or protection plans that suit your
situation.
